Henry Clay Tattoo Cigars: A Winning Collaboration

Henry Clay cigars are unique in that they have been around since the 1800's. The history of the cigar is a part of American culture- Rudyard Kipling, Alfred Hitchcock and other famous individuals have used Henry Clay cigars in their works of literature and art. A new addition to the collection has made Henry Clay even more significant.

Owner of Tatuaje Cigars Pete Johnson has made it no secret that he's a fan of the Henry Clay brand. In fact, he claims that he had been hoping to blend minds with the makers of Henry Clay (Altadis USA) for some time. His wish finally came true, and Johnson worked with Altadis to create a blend honoring the Henry Clay brand.

This creation, Henry Clay Tattoo, was first made available at the 2015 IPCPR. It's a limited edition cigar and only 2,500 boxes are available. They come in boxes of 20 in only one vitola- 54 x 6 with a pigtail. The wrapper of the cigar is a vintage 2010 Connecticut Broadleaf, and it contains flavorful fillers from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Complete with a Dominican binder, the cigar is full of flavor a made with excellent quality.
